The Craftsman

Jerry began in the mid-70s as a self-taught cabinet maker in the Austin area. Launching his own custom trim business in 1977, he has spent more than 45 years working with top builders in some of Austin area's most beautiful custom homes.  Known for decades as one of the most sought-after and trusted custom trim carpenters in Central Texas, Jerry is now bringing his expert woodcrafting skills to your home or business with custom cabinetry, furniture design, and more.

    Every project is collaborative. We start by discussing your needs and preferences, then Jerry will create a sketch for approval. After gathering measurements, a final quote is provided and a 50% down payment is settled before beginning construction. The remaining 50% fee is collected after the project is completed.

    We offer a variety of finishes including natural/raw, stains, and clear coats to protect and enhance the beauty of the wood. Cabinets are generally left bare for professional finishing. Jerry will discuss with you the pros and cons to consider with any option based on your particular project.

    Each project is custom, which means that timelines vary depending on the scope and details of the request. Project requests are discussed and quoted within one week. Projected timelines will be provided once project plans are finalized and materials quoted. 

    Project estimates are based primarily on on material costs at the time the project begins and labor time. Additional fees may ensue for local delivery and itemized receipts will be provided. All costs for out-of-area shipping will be determined at the buyer's discretion when choosing a third-party carrier.

    Local deliveries and installation are available for a fee. Pickup is available by appointment from shop near Georgetown, TX. Shipping can be arranged through third party carriers by the buyer.  

    Since each piece is custom-made, we do not offer refunds or returns. However, we will work with you to make any necessary adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.
